Montoya still out, Wurz now in

Juan Pablo Montoya is out of action again, with Alex Wurz promoted in his place this time. McLaren have apparently modified an MP4-20 chassis to his accommodate his above-average (for an F1 driver) height. This is a blow for Pedro de la Rosa, who drove a patchy but impressive race in Bahrain, setting fastest lap but flying off the circuit when trying to pass several others. Alex Wurz has many supporters in the paddock, not least the writers of F1 Racing magazine, who have written two articles on why Wurz deserves a race seat since he became a McLaren tester in 2001 (the most recent of which was this April’s issue.)
