  1. I wish I could watch Formula E (Australia).

Anyone got advice? (No, I don’t want to give money to Rupert.)

    1. It’s streamed on YouTube but it might be locked if it’s on tv where you are. It’s a good quality stream and quality so there is ways around geo locking :)

    2. Youtube, the whole races are there, even broadcasted live.

    3. It’s easy to Bit Torrent after the race too.

  2. I’m moving to Germany on Friday. Can anybody advise the quality of the coverage and on which channel this would be?

    1. RTL and Sky Deutschland show all the races live in Germany as far as I know.

If you want ridiculously biased, tabloid-style coverage with a penchant for bullying of less-popular drivers and longer commercial break than even the most generous attention span can handle, go for RTL. It’s free, that’s pretty much all the good you can say about it.
I can’t say too much about Sky Deutschland, as I’ve only ever watched them a couple of times, but my impression wasn’t outstanding, either.
That’s why I’ve been streaming Sky UK for the past few years. The colours may be muddy, but at least there’s nothing that makes me want to flip my table in anger.

        1. Thanks guys. With my German being so poor I might have to stream regardless!

RTL Oostenreich (Austria) shows all F1 races (with German commentary, of course)!

I’m a Brit living in Holland & I pick up this channel on satellite.

      Good luck. Martin

So motorsport has arranged to F1, IndyCar, Formula E, European F3, BTCC and WTCC all for the same weekend despite nothing at all being on last weekend. Clever…

    1. Don’t forget MotoGP and V8 Supercars. Incredible weekend in prospect. I’m not leaving the sofa.

@racectrl Well, at least there are plenty of alternatives when I’m busy not watching qualifying on Saturday!

  4. btcc is on??? details pls!

  5. Tip for those who have rooted android phones: you can use Lucky Patcher for full access to live timing in the official F1 app. It will make it much easier to follow the race as well as other sessions.

    1. Details please!

Your android phone must be rooted.

Download and install and enable xposed installer/framework. Search google for your phone model and system for instructions.

Download latest version of Lucky Patcher.
        http://lucky-patcher.netbew.com/download/

Enable lucky patcher inside the xposed installer and restart the phone.

Open the F1 app and proceed to upgrading to premium by clicking on F1 ACCESS. When you click, a lucky patcher pop up should appear, click yes to complete the upgrade process.

Everytime you open the F1 app you have to repeat tge purchase process. The F1 app might crash occasionaly. Just close it via task manager and re-open it again.

This worked for me on a rooted note 3 running on Kitkat.

  6. Does channel 4 in the UK stream the sessions live?

  7. If outside the Uk Join My Private Network for all BBC, ITV, and Channel 4 Progs.
