Verstappen win flummoxes Predictions players

F1 Fanatic Predictions Championship

How many Predictions Championship players correctly tipped Max Verstappen to win the Spanish Grand Prix? Not a single one.

Two came close, picking the Red Bull debutant to finish second behind Sebastian Vettel. But no one was crazy enough to select him for outright victory.

With both Mercedes drivers out by turn four it was an unsurprisingly low-scoring round of the Predictions Championship. Only one player managed to score more than half a maximum score of 50 points – this round’s winner @BombieroAle. @Bcfc2 emerged on top from a three-way tie to claim the second place prize.

There are chances to win every race weekend and at the end of the season for the top scorers. The F1 Fanatic Predictions Championship is free to enter. You will need an F1 Fanatic account to place so sign up here if you haven’t got one.

Enter your predictions for each race using the form below, and scroll down for more information on the prizes and the rules.

VER in the predictions now, Vergne?

    1. That’s what I thought. Meanwhile BBC F1 was using VPN as abbreviation for Verstappen. Can’t we all use the official VES from now on?

  2. I got 5 points. I’m not good in this year. :D
