Nico Rosberg set the fastest lap of the British Grand Prix but Fernando Alonso was just a tenth of a second slower.

The McLaren driver pitted for a fresh set of medium compound tyres towards the end of the race.

  1. Even with fresher tyres, that’s pretty impressive from Alonso.

    Also, given how both McLarens were hustling Williamses and Force Indias, and considering the power deficit of the Honda engine, Woking does have a damn good chassis on their hands.

    1. Totally agree. Please note that Honda used 2 tokens to upgrade their engine this weekend. They’re now on the level of the 2015-spec Ferrari engine used by STR, according to some. I sincerely hope next year will be their resurrection and the end of the Mercedes dominance.
