  1. Forza Failari

    1. ^ This got me laughing!!

    2. So Kimi still giving the highest Return on Investment?
Pay him by points and he will deliver!

  2. Incompetence at best on Ferrari’s side again, although Renault’s varying pace from track to track is weird as well.

    1. Engine failures are not down to incompetence, just risk taking with pushing for performance.

      1. There were no engine failures, though. Ferrari left something in Vettel’s air intake, and got dirt in Leclerc’s fuel system. Both are just plain incompetent.

        1. And you got your informatin from…?

          1. @pironitheprovocateur, thin air, seemingly, because so far nobody seems to have provided any claim for either assertion.

    2. @jerejj Max performed just as well this time last season, he was .1 away from pole in q2 but made a bad q3. for all the talk of power tracks, rb and max seem to like power tracks, austria, mexico and hockenheim.

      1. @peartree Hockenheimring isn’t really a power-track, though, and while the Mexican GP venue on paper is, the uniquely high-altitude reduces that effect to the greatest extent, more or less nullifies it entirely.

Just give that trophy to Merc.

  4. haha this is grotesque even Gio would not like P5 that way…

I feel so sorry for Charles and Seb right now.

    1. @panagiotism-papatheodorou, well, I guess the only consolation that they can take from this is that at least they have a chance of recovering some ground tomorrow.

      1. Double check the order before posting @keith. Doesn’t look correct.

    2. You choose to drive for Ferrari then you accept likely failure. No sympathy what so ever and although it’s very petty I do enjoy seeing the Italians fall flat on their faces again and again and again. Forza Ferrari!! Shame for the battle that could have been though.

  6. What a lap from Hamilton.
Could be a great race tomorrow if it rains with the 2 Ferraris down the grid.

  7. what a miracle. I too don’t know how it happened. Merc split on a power track by a Honda.
like last year max looked strong for a pole but merc.
my picks for tomorrow look perfect, just got the decider wrong by a tenth, what a miracle, you can’t predict miracles.

  8. If ever there was a good time for Ferrari to get around a table (from the cleaners to the owners) and discuss what they want from the future, I would say this is a good time.

Grosjean is driving the Haas from Melbourne and even though KMag says his car (with all the new up-grades) feels great – Romain still makes him look slow.
    What is that about?

Tomorrow – Lando Vs Lance. The first few seconds may be the best :)

  9. Giovinazzi 5th and Raikkonen 11th? @keithcollantine

    1. It is Keith…

      1. Someone’s been drinking Mum’s homemade brew again….

    2. It should be the other way around.

  10. I seem to recall yesterday’s COTD predicting something like this, except for Verstappen P2.

  11. An excellent best of the rest for Mr KR, due to absence of both Ferraris of course.
It is entirely possible he may slot in ahead of Gasly at the start…..

  12. Sad for Ferrari, hopefully tomorrow the weather favours them. Amazing performance by Raikkonen. Iceman’s still go it. I hope tomorrow weather brings all the drama it can and we see a midfield driver on the podium. Maybe Kimi, Grosjean, Sainz or Perez.

    1. @rahim-rg I’m definitely fingers crossed for a new face or two on the podium.

  13. GAS time is cancelled, but not his demonstration that he is as quick as MAX

  14. I cant believe it still says Antonio 5th and Raikkonen 11th on your website.
