  1. Zhou’s late extra stop was clearly about taking away the bonus point from Gasly so that his team would be two points ahead rather than one.

    1. Yes, playing the long game from the start, respect!

    2. @jerejj The team said as much in their radio message to Bottas after the race.

I understand the “gap to leader” can be useful to some by calculating how many races left * 25pts for pilots to be mathematically eligible for WDC, could you please add a graphical progression as well, as was done a few year back ? I find it nice to see the, well, progression of points in addition to the single table of total points

I was so pleased to see Albon take a point for Williams. With how far away they’ve been for so long coming in to this race they were absolutely not at the bottom of the grid and it was refreshing to see both cars battling for the midfield/lower points.

Piastri is not happy with his gamble.

    1. Mc Laren won’t admit it not even to themselves, but they haven’t been a top team since 2013. 2012 Was their last season with more than 1 victory.
They still behave like a top team but now they are not even the fastest mercedes custommer team anymore. Past performance does not help present or future performance. In my view, the decline truly began when they lost Newey to Red Bull in 2005.

      1. The waste of time and talent that has passed thru that Team since then.
