  1. Another pole for Leclerc, as I expected, but Ferrari’s general race pace disadvantage will probably be against him winning in the sprint too.
Sargeant had a good pace until his error, partly down to Sainz’s presence.
Tsunoda still had green lights when crossing the timing line, but unlucky red for him & Alfas.

Now that this race has become pretty irrelevant, it makes sense to have it as a reverse grid race to make it interesting.

      Points system could simply be:

      Points for top 8, 10 or 12

      Or

Points for top 8 but with points given to drivers with most completed overtakes or positions gained

        *but with points also given

Malaysia 2010 was a pretty interesting race due the the Ferrari’s and McLaren’s starting at the back.

      2. Just change the entire points system to award points to all finishers.
Nobody is on the track to gain nothing then – every position counts toward the championship, all the time.

As long as there is more points for the GP than the sprint, who cares what the actual number of points is.

It has to be worth it to the competitors. Decoupling it from the GP has made it completely useless for at least 1/3 of them.
Reversing the grid would be interesting and I’d like it to happen (but it won’t), but they at least give everyone sufficient incentive to take it seriously.
Norris’ and Tsunoda’s teams already sacrificed the sprint the first time out with this format…

  2. Dissapointing q3 by Aston Martins again.Fernando should have been 5-th.

  3. Congrats to LEC, he’s really making a difference compared to SAI.

That Mercedes should be burned completely!
