   Well, with this grid and the chance of rain, if the race isn’t at least somewhat interesting then there is no hope for this track.

      Assuming the rain actually comes and they let them race, 2 very doubtful events in recent times.

   If only Max didn’t mess up his forst attempt, but luck is part of motorsports, so sometimes it goes against.
   Surprisingly many droppers, though, with both Mclarens, Stroll, Tsunoda, & Hamilton.
   Another surprise was Tsunoda getting outqualified by De Vries for the first time.

   Now we wait for Horner to say that Checo still needs to beat Max directly to the pole and that this doesn’t count.

   I have no doubt that Perez is really getting under Verstappen’s skin. Leclerc really messed what could have been a pole lap in his first attempt. In his second attempt, he should have been more cautious. Sainz must be relieved. Haas has shown real pace, Hulk was always there but Mag got really lucky. Alonso is being opportunistic, classic Alonso.
   On another note, get in there Lewis :)

      If Leclerc and Sainz keep going like that, it will make more sense that Ferrari hires Alonso again.

      Agree, I thought about the same. Verstappen wasn’t happy with Perez’s win in Baku. But I bet Verstappen will get a timely safety car tomorrow and will be second easily without passing cars and losing time, so Perez will be in danger.

   when was the last time the top 3 after qualifying were all native Spanish speaking? :P

   Really curious about the race tomorrow, fingers crossed for Sergio and Fernando!

       No. Verstappen is practically 2nd on the grid. Everyone not in a RedBull is a backmarker.

    Yeah, Ferrari, Leclerc is no Alonso. His stats is appalling. Getting one and a half dozens of poles and just five wins? Frankly, terrible.
    Go Alonso!
